Refund Policy

Quick summary: 30-day money-back guarantee, no questions asked. Email info@shadowaipolicy.com with the email address you used at checkout and we'll issue a full refund within one business day (Monday–Friday); it then takes 5–10 business days to reach your card.

30-day money-back guarantee

We want you to be confident in your purchase. If Shadow AI Policy does not meet your needs for any reason, you can request a full refund within 30 days of the original purchase date. This applies to both the one-time purchase and the first month of the Monitor subscription.

You do not need to give a reason, but we welcome honest feedback so we can improve the Service.

How to request a refund

Email info@shadowaipolicy.com with:

The email address you used at checkout
The order/receipt number from your Stripe confirmation email (if you have it)
A brief note — optional, but appreciated

We issue refunds within one business day (Monday–Friday) of your request. The funds return to the same card or payment method used at purchase, and it takes 5–10 business days for the refund to reach your card.

What happens after a refund

You may no longer use any policy kits or materials generated via the Service.
Any active subscription is cancelled and will not auto-renew.
We delete your stored company profile within 30 days, as described in our Privacy Policy.

Subscriptions after the 30-day window

After the first 30 days, the Monitor subscription can be cancelled at any time and will not renew for the following month, but we do not issue pro-rated refunds for the current billing period. You keep access to any generated kit for the rest of the paid month.

Exceptions

We may decline refunds (after investigating and communicating with you) in cases of:

Evidence of abuse, fraud, or chargeback circumvention;
Use of the Service in violation of our Terms of Service;
Requests filed more than 30 days after the original charge (for one-time purchases) or 30 days after the first subscription charge (for the Monitor plan).

Chargebacks

If you have an issue with your charge, please email us first. A chargeback before we have had a chance to resolve the issue may result in denial of future service, but does not waive your right to a refund under this policy.
